The most compelling characteristic of rain is its power to generate life. As Rumi said, « It is rain that grows flower». This whole connection of rain with the germination process is closely related to one of the most basic human desire- the desire for freedom and enjoyment of life. We wanted to translate this close interrelation of life with rain by means of architecture.

For a tropical country like Bangladesh, monsoon is lengthy and already eventful. The drive behind this design was to glorify this attribute, to implement something to a very well known environment so that when it starts to rain, the space itself suddenly creates a newer ambience to celebrate that reviving enthusiasm that comes with the blissful shower of rain.
